Key Responsibilities
As a Café Manager, you will:
- Evaluate, plan, and organize daily café operations
- Monitor and supervise staff performance
- Recruit, train, and schedule team members
- Conduct staff performance reviews
- Determine service offerings and implement operational procedures
- Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly followed
- Balance cash, prepare cash reports, and complete related financial documentation
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Address customer complaints and provide exceptional customer service
- Participate in marketing initiatives and promotional activities
- Manage special events and lead team development initiatives

Education, Experience, and Skills Requirement
To qualify for this role, you should have:
Education
- College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate/diploma (3 months to less than 1 year)
Experience
- 3 to less than 5 years of experience in food service, hospitality, or operations management
Technical Skills
- Electronic cash register systems
- Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Operational management experience
Additional Requirements
- Criminal record check
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Work Environment
This role involves:
- Working on-site in a food service establishment
