Education, Experience and Language Requirement
Drakes Supermarkets is looking for the following in its candidates:
- Education: No formal qualification required
- Experience: Delivery driving experience preferred, with manual handling skills
- Licence: Current open driver’s licence required
- Language: English required for customer interaction and safe work practices
Work Environment
This role involves working in the following conditions:
- Driving across Adelaide’s central and north-eastern regions
- Customer-facing environment during deliveries
- Manual handling of goods (lifting, loading, unloading)
- Flexible schedules, Monday–Saturday
Key Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver, you will:
- Load stock into vehicles efficiently and safely
- Deliver platters and online shopping orders on schedule
- Provide outstanding customer service at every delivery point
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete daily checks
- Follow safe work practices and operational requirements
- Carry out other related duties as assigned
