About the Role
Edwards Vacuum, part of the Atlas Copco Group, is looking for a skilled Technician to join our workshop team in Jhunan. In this role, you’ll be responsible for disassembling, cleaning, assembling, and testing vacuum pumps to meet company quality standards and production targets.
Working closely with your team and other departments, you’ll help ensure productivity, efficiency, and safety while supporting continuous improvement initiatives that drive workshop excellence.

Key Responsibilities
At Edwards Vacuum and Atlas Copco you key responsibilities as a Technician include the following:
- Disassemble, clean, assemble, and test vacuum pumps to meet quality standards
- Achieve productivity, volume, and efficiency targets while reducing rejects
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and quick turnaround
- Support materials store and local logistics activities as required
- Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities
- Maintain safe working conditions, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies
- Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organized on a daily basis
- Communicate effectively with team leaders and colleagues to meet workshop goals

Education, Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment used in pumping or vacuum systems
- Ability to disassemble electro-mechanical equipment, identify faults, and reassemble components
- Skilled in performance testing of equipment
- PC literate, with working knowledge of Windows-based software
- Minimum one year of experience in servicing electro-mechanical systems (motors, solenoids, contactors, etc.)
