Key Responsibilities
As a Food Counter Attendant, you will:
- Greet customers and take food and beverage orders
- Prepare, heat, and serve simple food items
- Portion, wrap, and package take-out food
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
- Replenish condiments, food supplies, and stock refrigerators/salad bars
- Operate dishwashers and clean dishes, pots, and pans
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces, kitchen areas, and dining spaces
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors; handle garbage and recycling
- Receive, unpack, and store food supplies
- Use manual and electrical appliances to prepare and process food
- Keep records of food quantities used
