Education, Experience and Language Requirement
Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma required; vocational diploma in hospitality is an advantage
- Experience: Minimum 1 year housekeeping experience in luxury hotels preferred (training will be provided)
- Language: Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage

Key Responsibilities
As a Room Attendant, you will:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms to the highest standards of luxury and hygiene
- Replace linens, replenish amenities, and arrange guest items neatly and carefully
- Clean bathrooms, fixtures, mirrors, and windows with attention to detail
- Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and ensure all in-room electronics function properly
- Handle guest requests promptly and professionally
- Remove room service trays and follow Lost & Found procedures when needed
- Report any damages, maintenance issues, or suspicious activities to supervisors
- Adhere to all safety, security, and sustainability policies of Mandarin Oriental Group
- Support colleagues and contribute to maintaining a positive, team-oriented work culture
Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities
The job involves:
- Physically demanding work requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Ability to carry up to 20 kg (linen, cleaning supplies, etc.)
- Repetitive tasks with high attention to detail
- Flexibility to work night shifts or overtime if required
