Education, Experience and Language Requirement
NZ Post is looking for candidates with the following:
- Education: No formal qualification required
- Experience: Previous delivery or customer service experience an advantage, but not essential – full training provided
- Licence: Minimum restricted NZ driver’s licence required
- Language: English required for communication and customer interaction
Work Environment
The role involves working in:
- Outdoor conditions (rain, hail, or shine)
- A community-facing environment
- Independent and team-based work settings
- Use of Paxster e-vehicles for deliveries
Key Responsibilities
As a Delivery Agent, you will:
- Sort and process mail and parcels at the Range Street branch
- Deliver mail and parcels on assigned routes using sustainable e-vehicles
- Provide excellent customer service as the face of NZ Post
- Ensure safe and accurate delivery of items
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
- Maintain a professional and friendly manner in the community
