Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Cleaner and Laundry Assistant will include the following:
- Perform daily cleaning duties throughout resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
- Complete cleaning duties in accordance with infection control requirements.
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry.
- Handle residents’ personal clothing and linen appropriately.
- Maintain clean and organised laundry areas.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
- Report maintenance, safety, and hygiene concerns to the appropriate team members.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive environment for residents.
- Support the overall cleanliness, comfort, and well-being of residents.
