Education, Skills and Experience
Summerset Retirement Villages requires the following:
Language: Strong English communication skills are essential to deliver excellent customer service and work effectively in a team.
- Education: No formal qualifications required
- Experience: Previous café or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong barista skills are highly valued

Key Responsibilities
As a Café Assistant, you’ll ensure the café runs smoothly while creating a welcoming space for everyone. Your duties will include:
- Preparing, presenting, and serving food and drinks to a high standard
- Providing excellent barista services
- Assisting with catering for village events and resident functions
- Handling cash and reconciling daily takings
- Supporting the Chef Manager, Café Supervisor, and team in daily café operations
