Key Responsibilities
As a Chef de Partie – Staff Cafeteria, you will:
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals according to recipes and standards
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, and grills to ensure consistent results
- Ensure correct portion sizes, arrangement, and garnish presentation
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Monitor food quality and quantity, minimizing waste and optimizing resources
- Pull food from freezer storage for thawing and preparation as needed
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service teams during busy periods
- Support the Executive Chef by identifying excess or special food items for daily specials
- Maintain detailed food logs and ensure adherence to preparation checklists
- Supervise and train junior staff in food preparation, safety, and kitchen operations
- Maintain a positive and respectful kitchen culture aligned with Ritz-Carlton’s “Gold Standards”

Education, Experience and Certification Requirements
To qualify for this position, you should have:
- Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree in Culinary Arts (preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a professional kitchen environment
- License or Certification: Food safety and hygiene certification (preferred)
Work Environment
This role involves:
