Key Responsibilities

As a Picker / Packer, you will:

  • Accurately pick products for customer orders
  • Pack orders following quality and presentation standards
  • Print and apply shipping labels, prepare manifests, and stage packages
  • Use Shopify and ShipStation to manage, update, and process orders
  • Communicate with customer service regarding special requests or order issues
  • Coordinate with carriers to confirm pickups and resolve shipping concerns
  • Check fulfillment inbox daily for address changes, notes, or order updates
  • Monitor and restock packing supplies (boxes, tape, fillers, labels)
  • Perform quality checks—verifying SKUs, quantities, and product condition
  • Assist with returns, exchanges, and basic receiving or restocking tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the fulfillment area
  • Meet productivity and accuracy targets consistently

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

The ideal candidates will have the following:

Education

  • No formal degree required

Experience

  • Previous warehouse, fulfillment, or ecommerce picking/packing experience (Preferred)
  • Shopify experience required (2+ years preferred)
  • ShipStation experience (Preferred)

Knowledge

  • Familiarity with basic warehouse and inventory workflows
  • Understanding of order management systems
  • Basic computer and email communication skills

Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks

Additional Requirements

  • Reliable daily on-site attendance
  • Ability to work occasional overtime during peak periods

Work Environment
