Key Responsibilities
As a Farm Worker, you will:
- Handle and monitor beef cattle, including calving, weaning, and general livestock care
- Feed, tend, and monitor animals in feedlots and pasture systems
- Operate and maintain tractors, combines, sprayers, and other farm machinery
- Perform haying, tillage, and grain operations including wheat, oilseed, and forage crops
- Prepare cattle for exhibitions and track livestock performance records
- Maintain barns, stables, pens, and equipment
- Apply fertilizers and manage crop inputs safely
- Follow farm safety and biosecurity protocols
- Assist with general ranch and farm maintenance tasks, including cleaning, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance

Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements
Work Rights:
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit
Experience:
- 1–2 years of farming or ranching experience
- Livestock handling and animal husbandry experience preferred
- Experience operating farm machinery (tractors, combines, loaders, etc.)
Licences & Requirements:
- Valid driver’s licence
- Ability to operate manual vehicles
- Experience with agricultural chemicals is an advantage
Skills:
- Strong machinery operation and maintenance skills
- Ability to work independently and safely in rural environments
- Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
