Key Responsibilities
As a baker, you will:
- Prepare dough for bread, rolls, pies, cakes, cookies, muffins, and sweet goods
- Prepare batters, icings, and frostings according to recipes or customer orders
- Bake mixed doughs and batters
- Operate baking machinery and kitchen equipment
- Train staff in food preparation and handling procedures
- Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
- Ensure products meet quality and freshness standards
- Inspect kitchen and food preparation areas
- Organize and maintain inventory supplies
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or food intolerances
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
