Key Responsibilities
As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for the following:
- Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery.
- Install machinery and industrial equipment.
- Detect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical irregularities and malfunctions.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
- Construct foundations for machinery installations.
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts and components.
- Fabricate parts required during maintenance, overhaul, or equipment setup.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Operate machining tools to manufacture and modify parts.
- Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) when required.
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely.
- Commission systems and machinery components.
- Estimate costs, materials, and maintenance requirements.
- Coach and instruct apprentices as needed.

Qualifications
To qualify for the job you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with machinery installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Ability to operate lifting and hoisting equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Schedule
Working Hours: 35–40 hours per week
Shifts Available: Morning, Day, Evening, and Weekend
